Seqendel (A 9-8)
The rock inscription is located on a hill northwest of the village of Seqendel, 30 km west of the city of Ahar in Iran. The south-facing inscription is carved in a shallow niche 68 cm high and 115 cm wide on the hillside that hosts the ruins of the fortress of Libliuni. In his annals (A 9-3 IV), Sarduri states that he placed this inscription after capturing the city of Libliuni.

2 ka-ru-ni mul-tú-di-a-ú-ni MAN KURpu-lu-a-di-ul-hi
3 mba-an-šá-di-ni KURe-ba-ni-e dhal-di-ni ku-ru-ni-ni
4 dhal-di-ni-ni GIŠšú-ri-⸢e⸣ ku-ru-ni-ni uš-ta-bi
5 mdsar5-du-ri-ni mar-giš-ti-e-hi-e
6 md⸢sar5⸣-du-ri-še a-li-e ha-ú-bi 21 É.GALMEŠ
7 55 URU 1 U4-ME áš-gu-bi URUli-ib-li-i-ú-ni
8 URU MAN-nu-si a-gu-nu-⸢ni⸣ ma-nu gu-nu-šá ha-ú-bi

Translation:
“(1) The god Haldi set off with his weapon, he defeated Ultudiauni, king of the land Puluadi, (and) the land of the Banšadini. From behind(?) the god Haldi, from behind(?) the weapon of the god Haldi, Sarduri, son of Argišti, set off. (5) Sarduri says: I defeated 21 fortresses, (and) I destroyed 55 settlements. In 1 day I conquered in battle the city Libliuni, royal city, which was fortified. (9) (I am) Sarduri, strong king, great king, king of the lands, king of the Bia lands, lord of Ṭušpa-City.”
