Kavuncu (A 5-53A-B)
The fragmentary cylindrical stone (a column base?) with a three-line inscription (A) was found in a house in Van in the late 19th century but was subsequently lost. In 2009, a duplicate of this inscription was discovered on another cylindrical stone fragment (B) in the village of Kavuncu, east of the city of Van. This fragment is in the inventory of the Van Museum, with a height of 28 cm and an inscribed arc covering 64.5 cm of its circumference.

Kavuncu (A 5-54)
The unprovenanced cylindrical stone fragment with a three-line inscription was brought to the Van Museum in 1987. Two fragments of the same stone that completed the inscription were discovered by M. Salvini in 2008 and 2009 in the village of Kavuncu, about 10 km east of the city center of Van. The text is identical to the one on A 5-53, but here it is repeated three times. The stone has a diameter of 72 cm and a height of 35 cm and is on display in the Van Museum.
